Technology applicable to various industrial fields of thermal spray coating business
including fabrication, machining and coating of semiconductors/display ESC and parts
Metal coating is applicable to all of thermal spray coating techniques, which are classified into ARC thermal spray coating and HVOF thermal spray coating dependent upon application conditions, processes and materials of products.
ARC thermal spray
ARC thermal spray coating is performed by melting metal wires with electrodes of anode and cathode. The engineering is similar to metalizing spray engineering, and is used for coating materials more diversified than those of the latter. The engineering yields restoration of materials of thickness larger than those of metalizing engineering.
Applicable fields
Electronics, textile, heavy industry, shipbuilding, aviation, aerospace, and automobile.
Arc spray
Thermal energy of 4,100°C generated by DC power
Spraying at low temperature at speed of 150 m/sec
The least thermal effects on substrate out of all of thermal spray coating processes
HVOF thermal spray
HVOF thermal spray, also called high-speed flame spray, is typically used for coating metal products with metal powder. The engineering has excellent resistance properties against corrosion, abrasion and erosion, and is ideal for processes employing high-temperature gas.
Applicable fields
The engineering applies to chemicals, heavy industry and textile industry, and is used for various parts such as valve spindle, blade, ball valve, shaft and grooved roll.
HVOF(High velocity oxygen Fuel)
The engineering is also called high-speed thermal spray.
Thermal energy of 3,000°C, and high-speed spray at 700 m/sec.
The engineering removes shortcoming of drop of abrasion resistance resulted from carbon dissociation when thermally coating carbide at high temperature and low speed.
